is another simple one.
Today isn't yesterday and that is a very good thing.
I worked a double shift yesterday, from 1500 until 0700 this morning. It was uneventful, basically pretty boring and I met some of new interns and am encouraged.
But...
I am getting too old to be working 16 hours.
So, it's a very good thing today is today and not yesterday!

They do when they work on a college campus with a Criminal Justice program.
They get use to wearing a uniform, writing tickets, doing crowd control at sporting events, and dealing with the 'wonderful' public.
